Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants met personally to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
